The shaft the rest of the recurve field is measured against. High-modulus carbon is bonded over a 7075 precision alloy core, and the custom barrelled profile is cut to clear the riser cleanly off the fingers — the two things that decide whether a shot survives an imperfect release at 70 m. Easton states that the X10 has taken every Olympic archery medal since its introduction in 1996.
Sorted to ±.001″ straightness and ±0.5 grain across the dozen, then weight coded so matched sets stay matched as you replace shafts. The polished 9-micron finish cuts drag and lets arrows draw out of a boss without a fight. Made in the USA.

Points, pins, nocks and fletchings are sold separately so you can spec the arrow to your own setup. Shafts ship uncut — we're happy to cut and build them for you; just get in touch after ordering.
